T&D Energy Recruitment Consultant
Duties:
- Ensure that PIR achieves the Powerlines Group AFR target annually.
- Ensure that all accidents and incidents are reported and escalated as per the group accident and incident procedure, and that depots action all outcomes, recommendations and briefings from the subsequent investigations.
- Develop, encourage and maintain an open and fair safety culture within the PIR teams and its workers.
- Responsible for the overall management of workers, vehicle documentation, KPI’s reporting and producing, PPE, RCD, Training, timesheets management, some client management (with the Operations Manager, attending PDR’s)
- Ensure OTL’s are achieving above 95% in their weekly KPI’s in all area’s including timesheets, vehicles and training.
- Assist where required in managing any HR processes.
- Manage and complete the Recruitment documents and adhere to the process.
- Strategic national recruitment, working to ensure the company receive the most competent workers for tasks.
- Generate efficiencies within vehicle management where applicable.
- Ensure timescales and the processes of Resource Management are adhered to within the business reporting creating a spare pool of resource managed and distributed throughout the projects where required.
- Ensure all drivers are compliant with PIR Driver Competence and Vehicle management procedure where applicable. Ensure timesheets, advances and amendments are correctly collated and submitted to the central payroll team within the agreed timescales.
- Weekly payroll for Operatives to be completed, collated and submitted to weekly payroll for processing within required timescales where necessary.
The person:
- Proven track record of managing resources within the construction or infrastructure sector. Other sectors may be considered.
- Knowledge of OLE construction or trades roles and responsibilities.
- Understanding of the different work requirements of construction projects.
- Computer literacy including various software programmes.
- Willingness to travel and to learn and open minded for new technologies.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and support as required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Full driving licence and vehicle.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- The ability to stay calm and meet deadlines.
