Rail Resource Manager
Duties:
- Ensure that P&I achieves the Group AFR target annually.
- Maintaining existing external client data based in professional manners and expected timescale.
- Business Development activities and constant market re-search, look for any potential opportunity to help P&I expand the external business and revenue in line with agreed KPI’s following company policies and procedures.
- Apply governance to their respective P&I depots, OTL’s and projects to ensure that we only assign workers who are compliant, trained and competent to perform the duties and tasks they have been allocated to undertake, while complying with the industry fatigue and travel regulations, perform regular audits on worker travelling time and fatigue to ensure OTL’s are working within guidance measures.
- Ensure that all accidents and incidents are reported and escalated as per the group accident and incident procedure, and that depots action all outcomes, recommendations and briefings from the subsequent investigations.
- Develop, encourage and maintain an open and fair safety culture within the P&I teams and its workers.
- Responsible for the overall management of workers, vehicle documentation, KPI’s reporting and producing, PPE, RCD, Training, timesheets management, some client management (with project resource manager, attending PDR’s)
- Ensure OTL’s are achieving above 95% in their weekly KPI’s in all area’s including timesheets, vehicles and training.
- Manage and complete the Resource Coordination documents and adhere to the process, along with managing and completing the BC perm rosters and timesheets.
- Strategic national resourcing, working to ensure the company receive the most competent workers for tasks.
- Must ensure the safe deployment of resources into rail projects for external clients as per the P&I Rail Resourcing: Management of Competence Procedure
- Create a weekly productivity reports and updates.
The person:
- Proven track record of managing resources within the construction or infrastructure sector. Other sectors may be considered.
- Knowledge of construction or rail roles and responsibilities.
- Understanding of the different work requirements of construction and rail projects.
- Proven track record of resourcing large infrastructure projects.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to react dynamically in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to win new work and build strong last lasting client relationships.
