SRS Machine Controller (Rail)

Role Overview

As a Machine Controller, you play a critical role in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of machinery used in rail construction, maintenance sites. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety protocols, coordinating machine movements, and maintaining productivity, authorising movements, and checking that permitted speeds are not exceeded and that clearances (exclusion zones) between machines are maintained, also an important check on movements over level crossings, across points etc.

Qualifications and Skills

• PTS Certification: Possess a valid PTS certificate, MC / HPV / DPV  - COSS,  driving license. 
• Machine Competency: Demonstrated relevant experience and capabilities as MC / CC - COSS
