OLEC 3 Linesmen – Scotland 

Power & Infrastructure Resourcing are seeking experienced OLEC 3 Linesmen for upcoming rail works across Scotland starting January 2026.

Location: Scotland
Duration: Starting March 2026. Ongoing works (Minimum 6 months)
Rates: Competitive
Sector: Rail / OLE

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of OLE systems
• Safely handle overhead line equipment and inspect OLE components
• Ensure adherence to rail safety standards, protocols, and the Safe System of Work (SSOW)
• Read diagrams and instructions to troubleshoot on-site issues
• Collaborate with construction teams to resolve challenges efficiently
• Maintain high-quality standards and conduct inspections to prevent defects
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, providing clear progress updates
• Lead or mentor OLEC 2 team members where required

Requirements:
• Valid OLEC 3 certification
• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certificate
• Strong understanding of OLE processes, procedures, and safety compliance
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:
• Machine Operator competence
• First Aid certification
