Role Overview

As an OLE Site Engineer, you play a critical role in the  installation, and maintenance of overhead line electrification systems on the railway. Your work ensures the safe and efficient operation of electrified rail infrastructure.

The job holder will provide day-to-day duties as OLE Project Engineer as part of the UK OLE Construction team. Ensure physical implementation of project works are to correct technical standards and work as integral part of project team to ensure the success of the contract. Responsible for assisting with planning electrification activity essential to the programme of works, all the time ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Engineering Degree: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • OLE Competency: Possess relevant OLEC certifications (e.g., OLEC 1, OLEC 2, OLEC 3).
  • Experience: Previous experience in OLE  installation, or maintenance..
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey technical information effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to address engineering challenges.

Reporting Structure

  • The OLE Engineer typically reports to the Project Lead, CRE
