OLE Construction Manager

Power & Infrastructure Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced OLE Construction Manager to support ongoing rail infrastructure projects across Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong OLE background to join a growing team delivering major rail electrification and infrastructure works.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage all on-site aspects of OLE projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards
  • Lead the planning and coordination of labour, plant, materials and site resources
  • Coordinate possession, access and isolation requests with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved “For Construction” drawings and specifications
  • Liaise closely with OLE Engineers, Supervisors and client representatives throughout project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with Risk Assessments, Work Package Plans (WPPs) and railway safety standards
  • Carry out regular site inspections, safety tours and quality checks
  • Monitor site progress and produce accurate reports and records
  • Coordinate with other contractors and site teams to ensure efficient integration of works
  • Manage and support site supervisors and operational teams
  • Ensure all required competencies, safety arrangements and protection systems are in place

Requirements

  • Valid PTS certification
  • OLEC 4 qualification minimum
  • Previous experience in OLE Construction Management roles
  • Previous OLE supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of railway safety procedures and standards
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage teams and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong IT and reporting skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required

Desirable

  • OLEC 5 approvals
  • Previous experience delivering rail electrification projects across the UK rail network
  • Experience managing project reporting and client communication
