Earthing Assistant (Rail)

Role Overview

As an Earthing Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of rail electrification isolation systems. Your primary responsibility is to assist authorized person AP  in applying earths to overhead line equipment. You will be working under the direction of an Authorized Person (AP) or Nominated Person.

• Assist in applying earthing straps to OLE structures and third rails.
• Ensure proper attachment and secure positioning of earths.

Qualifications and Skills

• PTS Certification: Possess a valid PTS certificate.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to work outdoors, carry equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Attention to Detail: Precise execution of earthing procedures.
• Safety-Conscious Mindset: Prioritize safety at all times.
• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
