Power & Infrastructure Resourcing are looking to recruit experienced Crane Controllers for upcoming works starting in Week 50.

Location: North East of England

Start Date: Week 50

Duration: Ongoing works

Hours: Weekends with occasional midweek work

Role Overview

As a Crane Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe operations during crane and lifting activities within the rail environment. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain a Safe System of Work (SSOW) during lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the Safe System of Work (SSOW) for crane operations

• Collaborate closely with Machine Operators, COSS, and Site Supervisors

• Control lifting operations in line with rail safety standards

• Ensure loads are securely attached and safely lifted

• Monitor lifting activities and ensure safe removal of loads

• Maintain compliance with Sentinel and Network Rail standards

Requirements

• Valid COSS (essential)

• Crane Controller competency (Sentinel)

• Strong understanding of rail lifting operations

• Experience working within rail infrastructure

• Ability to work weekends with occasional midweek shifts
