AUTHORISED PERSON - AP

Role Overview

As an Authorised Person (AP) in the rail industry  you may be appointed to carry out several tasks as, operating line-side switches, testing the OLE, erecting and removing earths, removing objects from the OLE, using live-line measuring devices. Individuals will work under the guidance of a Nominated person (NP).

Ideal candidates will have: Valid PTS, COSS & AP Sentinel competencies.

• Proven experience with OLE isolations & safety-critical rail environments.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards & industry regulations.
• Ability to interpret OLE designs & wiring instructions.
• Familiarity with Network Rail controlled infrastructure.
• Valid UK driving license.
